Premier League preview and odds: Hull City vs Arsenal
September 17 , 2016 15:00pm - KCOM Stadium
Premier League
Two teams level on points in the Premier League will go head-to-head on Saturday as over-performers Hull City take on below par Arsenal at the KCOM Stadium.
Hull hope to build on impressive start
Despite being winless in two games, Hull City have continued to perform well and remain well-positioned at eight in the table. They followed up their agonising last-minute defeat to Manchester United by drawing 1-1 away to fellow newcomers Burnley last weekend and will be confident of causing Arsenal some problems this weekend.
New boss Mike Phelan has certainly made an impression in his first managerial role, over-achieving with a squad that was expected to be wallowing in the lower reaches of the table this season. Of course, there is still a long way to go, but the early signs are good, especially when considering the number of players who are still out injured for the Tigers and those that arrived late in the transfer window.
Having stuck with the same XI for the first four games, Phelan may decide to field the same line-up this weekend, although there may be a temptation to introduce one or two of the new faces for this clash.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will be looking to extend their winning streak to three games when they make the trip north on Saturday. Arsene Wenger`s men had a shaky start to the season, falling to a rare home defeat to Liverpool before playing out a 0-0 draw at Leicester City - a team they convincingly beat home and away last term.
League wins over Watford and Southampton followed before they held PSG to a draw away from home in the opening fixture of their Champions League campaign. After finishing second last year, the Gunners will be hoping to build some momentum as they try to stay in touch with current leaders Manchester City.
Team news
The home side are still without the injured group of Greg Luer, Michael Dawson, Moses Odubajo, Alex Bruce, Brian Lenihan and Allan Mcgregor.
Meanwhile, the visitors will continue without Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck and Carl Jenkinson.

Betting odds and tips
Hull City have started well and are looking defensively strong under Mike Phelan. Arsenal will have to battle to find a way through as Hull look to soak up pressure and attack on the break. However, the Londoners should have the individual talent required to unlock the Tigers` backline at least once.
You can back the away side to win by a single goal at 5/2 with Bet365.
