La Liga preview and odds: Malaga vs Eibar
Sep 20, 2016 20:00pm - Estadio La Rosaleda
La Liga
Winless Malaga will look to claim their first victory of the season when they welcome seventh-ranked Eibar to La Rosaleda in La Liga on Tuesday evening.
Tough start to second spell at Malaga for Juande Ramos
Malaga cruised to eighth place in the table last term under the guidance of Coach Javi Gracia, who has since departed for Rubin Kazan. in an attempt to try and build on last season`s respectable finish, the club has turned to former boss Juande Ramos, who last led the Andalusians back in 2004.
Since his last term in charge, the 61-year-old went on to coach Sevilla, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur with varying degrees of success, before heading to Russia and then Ukraine, where he spent the last four years at the helm of Dnipro.
Ramos` return was met with some reticence amongst fans and early results have done little to quash those doubts. With four games already played, Los Boquerones have yet to record a win and have just two points on the board. As a result, they currently sit in 15th-place in the table and will be looking to avoid a third-straight defeat on Tuesday night.
In their last home game, they were comfortable beaten 2-0 by Villarreal abd followed that up with a 1-0 defeat at high-flying Las Palmas.
Meanwhile, Eibar will arrive on the Costa del Sol full of confidence after grabbing seven points from their opening four games. They began poorly with a defeat away to Deportivo La Coruna but followed that up with back-to-back wins at home to Valencia and away to Granada. They come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Sevilla in which Pedro Leon bagged his third goal since arriving from Getafe in the summer.
Team news
The home side will be without Weligton, who is still out with an knee problem.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to cope without the injured duo of Adrian and Ramis.

Betting odds and tips
Malaga started last season slowly but finished strongly, rising to eighth in the table. In stark contrast, Eibar started well before fading in the final months.
This season looks to be following a similar pattern with the Basques looking well-priced for the win at 15/4.
