Premier League preview and odds: Burnley vs Everton
October 22, 2016 15:00pm - Turf Moor
Premier League
Burnley will go in search of their third home win of the season when they host sixth-ranked Everton at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.
On defeat in four at home for Burnley
Burnley are currently sat in 17trh place in the Premier League table with a total of just seven points, all of which have been picked up on home soil. Wins over Liverpool and Watford plus a draw against Hull City have helped them to keep their head above the relegation water with eight games gone.
The Clarets have conceded just three goals at home all season, all of which were shipped within the last eight minutes and two of which came deep into injury time. They come into this game on the back of a 3-1 defeat away to Southampton.
Meanwhile, opponents Everton are winless in three Premier League matches but will have been buoyed by last weekend`s 1-1 draw away to title favourites Manchester City. However, they were thoroughly outplayed for most of that game and had to rely on two missed penalties and some superb goalkeeping from Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Toffees have won 50% of their away games this season and lost just one - a 0-1 defeat at Bournemouth. A win this weekend would keep them in touch with the top four places.
Team news
Burnley still have a couple of injury concerns with Steven Defour and Ashley Barnes both still out with hamstring problems.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside team will continue without the services of Muhaned Besic (knee), Matthew Pennington (hamstring) and Tyias Browning (knees), while Leighton Baines remains a doubt due to a hamstring problem.

Betting odds and tips
Burnley do not concede many goals at home, but when they do, they come late in the game. In fact, both Arsenal and Hull City had to wait until deep into added time to find the net at Turf Moor.
Everton have a decent away record but will find it tough here and may have to be patient against the resilient Burnley back line. Whatever the outcome, a low goal count can be expected.
You can back Under 2.5 goals at 8/11 with Bet365.
