Premier League preview and odds: Leicester City vs Swansea City
August 27 , 2016 15:00pm - King Power Stadium
Premier League
Reigning champions Leicester City are still waiting for their first win of the new season. This weekend, they face a home challenge against a Swansea City side who have already picked up an away win this term.
Tough start for title holders
As Premier League title holders, Leicester City`s early season performances were bound to attract extra scrutiny this term. Their opening day defeat away to newly-promoted Hull City prompted premature predictions of their imminent fall from grace. However, the subsequent home draw against Arsenal restored some degree of realism to the debate.
It was always going to be hard for Claudio Ranieri and his men to repeat last season`s efforts. With players leaving, higher expectations and a Champions League schedule to contend with, the Italian boss perhaps faces his greatest ever managerial challenge in delivering a follow up season that can be widely considered a success.
After earning their first point of the season on home soil last weekend, the East Midland side now have the luxury of another home game against one of the pre-season relegation candidates.
Swansea City were tipped by many to be potential relegation candidates this term. But after guiding them to safety following his arrival earlier in the year, Italian boss Francesco Guidolin will have other ideas.
The Swans won away at Burnley on the opening day but were undone at home by surprise package Hull City last weekend. They will hoping that their new Spanish strike force of Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston can fire them to a decent finish - however, the former has yet to find the net in two appearances and the latter is still out injured.
Team news
Nampalys Mendy and Jeff Schlupp are both out of action for the home side.
Meanwhile, Borja Baston is set to miss out again for the visitors.

Betting odds and tips
These two teams already share something in common, having both been beaten by Hull City, but who will prevail this weekend? Leicester had a dodgy start but looked much better against Arsenal - a second consecutive home game could also work in their favour.
Meanwhile, Swansea followed up their opening day win with a disappointing home defeat to Hull City. Leicester romped to a 4-0 win in this fixture last year and should be expected to prevail again this weekend, albeit by a smaller winning margin.
You can back the home win at a decent price of 8/11.
