The denomination of wagers on Atlantis Queen ranges from €0.20 to €500, thus making the maximum bet a whopping €12,500 per spin. It is easy to adjust the betting amount by using the +/- toggles below the first two reels. Clicking on “Bet Max” beneath the fourth reel will maximize the number of lines selected, but it does not change the size of the bet per line. The Atlantis Queen slot features the traditional Playtech card symbols, Nines through Aces, which pay out whenever three or more match on an active payline at multipliers of 8X to 200X. Higher paying winning combinations are available, too. Catching all three Mermaids on the middle reels in any position will activate the Pearl Bonus. The game will automatically display a pop-up window with three rows of three oyster shells each. They will open one by one to reveal pearls of gold, silver or bronze, each worth a different cash prize amount. All pearl wins are added up to form the total bonus for the round. This process is completely automatic and random, so that the player has no interactive role to play whatsoever.
Catching 2, 3, 4 or 5 Temple scatter symbols anywhere on the reels is worth a total wager multiplier of 1X, 4X, 20X or 100X, respectively. The Atlantis Temple Bonus round is activated whenever three or more of the Temple scatter symbols appear. A new screen is displayed showing four rows of five stone tiles each, from which the player will make selections.
The first row contains hidden values for the number of free spins to be awarded. The second row has free game win multipliers hidden. The third row contains extra scatter symbols, and the fourth hides extra wild symbols. Each tile pick the player makes will result in one of four outcomes: collect all values in the row, get an extra pick in the row, get another pick in the row immediately above, or collect the prizes awarded so far and proceed to the free spins.
