The Fire Burner display features counters for “Bet” and “Win” in the lower left corner. In the lower right corner are the controls. Clicking on the Plus Sign (+) in the corner of the “Stake/Line” indicator allows the amount of the wager per line to be set from €0.01 to €2.00. Clicking on the Plus Sign (+) in the corner of the “Lines” indicator allows the number of active paylines to be set from 1 to 15. The maximum total Stake is €30.
The reels can be set in motion by clicking on either the orange “Spin” button or the green “Bet Max” button. Alternatively, using the orange “Autoplay” button allows the number of automated spins to be set from 5 to 100. When the reels come to a halt, any winning combinations are highlighted and the symbols animate.
The lowest ranking symbols on the reels are the Plums, Grapes, Raspberries, Cherries and Oranges, each of which pays out a multiplier of 10X to 500X whenever three or more of them match up from left to right on an active payline. Three other symbols on the reels relate to Special Features—the Jackpot, the Scatter and the Bonus. For example, when 3, 4 or 5 Jackpot symbols line up on a payline, they trigger the Jackpot, Super Jackpot or Grand Jackpot, respectively. Note that although the Jackpot symbol appears in Demo mode, too, it offers payouts only in Real mode.
The Scatter symbol on the reels resembles a fire extinguisher. Whenever 3, 4 or 5 Scatters appear in any positions on the reels, they award 10, 25 or 50 Free Spins, respectively. Note that all of the symbols seen in the main slot game remain on the reels during the Free Spins, so that the Jackpot and Bonus features can be activated. Free Spins can also be re-triggered by obtaining three or more Scatters on a free spin.
The Bonus symbol shows an array of “Lids” with question marks. Each time a Bonus symbol shows up anywhere on the reels, it adds “Points” to a counter in the upper right corner of the display. The number of Points is equal to one for every €0.01 wagered as part of the total Stake. Collecting 750 Points will zero the counter and starts the Bonus Game as a new screen appears.
The Bonus Game display is made up of 20 blue Lids arrange in five ascending rows from two Lids at the bottom to six Lids at the top. Each Lid hides either a cash prize or a She-Devil. When the player clicks on the green “Start” button at the bottom of the display, the Bonus Game begins. The two Lids on the bottom row will begin flashing and the player must click on one of them. If a cash prize is revealed, that amount is collected and the second row with three Lids begins flashing. Again, the player selects a Lid and continues to do so until either a She-Devil appears or the top row of Lids is reached safely, thus ending the Bonus. All amounts won are added to the player’s winning total for the initiating spin.
If the collection of Points resulting from a Bonus symbol’s appearance exceeds 750 Points, the surplus Points are carried over in the counter and credited toward the next Bonus Game. When the Bonus Game is triggered during the Free Spins mode, the Free Spins are paused until the Bonus Game has been completed.
